GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – ASTON BUSINESS HOTEL

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) regulate the relationship between the accommodation provider and the customer/guest when booking, paying, using or cancelling accommodation and related services.

  1. BASIC PROVISIONS

1.1. The accommodation facility is Aston Business Hotel, which provides accommodation and supplementary services. Restaurant services are provided by a third party, and the accommodation provider is not responsible for their quality, scope or complaints. Claims regarding these services are handled solely according to the complaints policy of the third party.

1.2. Services may be booked via the hotel reception or through the online booking system available on the website: www.hotelaston.sk

1.3. All services and legal relationships are governed by these GTC, the Accommodation Rules and applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.

1.4. By submitting an order, making a reservation or commencing the stay, the customer confirms full acceptance of these GTC.

  1. RESERVATION AND SERVICE SELECTION

2.1. The provider undertakes to provide services according to the current offer valid at the time of confirming the reservation.

2.2. The customer is entitled only to services that have been duly and demonstrably reserved. The reservation confirmation is decisive.

2.3. The provider may refuse to provide services or cancel a reservation at any time if the customer violates the payment terms, provides false information, or if their behaviour may cause damage to the provider.

2.4. Additional services can be arranged only according to current capacity and the valid price list.

III. PAYMENT TERMS

3.1. Prices are determined according to the valid price list. Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card or advance invoice.

3.2. For group bookings, corporate events, conferences or reservations exceeding 1 night, the customer must pay an advance invoice of at least 80% of the total price, no later than 7 days from invoice issuance, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

3.3. If the advance payment is not made by the due date, the reservation is automatically cancelled without compensation.

3.4. For non-guaranteed reservations, the provider may cancel the reservation if the guest does not check in by 14:00 on the arrival day.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS

4.1. Individuals (F.I.T.)

  • Guaranteed reservation – cancellation fee: 100% of the first night’s price
    Non-guaranteed reservation may be cancelled by the hotel after 11:00 on the arrival day

4.2. Groups (10 persons or more)

• Changes in number of guests are handled individually according to the third-party policy

 

 

4.4. General conditions

  • Refunds are issued only by bank transfer
    • Refunds are reduced by related bank and card transaction fees
    • The paid deposit is non-refundable, unless the service failure is demonstrably caused by the hotel
    Force majeure does not include state or governmental restrictions related to public health protection
  1. CHECK-IN, STAY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1. Check-in: from 14:00 / Check-out: until 10:00

5.2. Late check-out fees:
• 20 € / room until 11:00
• 40 € / room until 12:00
• 50 € / room until 13:00
• after 13:00 – charged as an additional night

5.3. The provider may request a security deposit of 10 € per person for groups, which may be used to cover damages or penalties.

5.4. Penalties:
• Smoking in a non-smoking room: 250 €
• Excessive cleaning of conference areas: 200 €
• Disturbance of guests / night noise: 300 € (may be repeatedly charged)

  1. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

6.1. The customer may request alternative dispute resolution according to Slovak Act No. 391/2015 Coll.

6.2. Competent authority: Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI)

VII. FINAL PROVISIONS

8.1. These GTC are governed by the legal system of the Slovak Republic. Disputes will be resolved before the competent court in the Slovak Republic.

8.2. Any communication shall be delivered by registered mail, in person or by courier to the last known address.

8.3. The invalidity of any provision does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
